How to Use STADEA Hand Polishing Pads (Step-by-Step)

Safety First: Wear safety goggles, waterproof gloves, and apron before starting.

Secure the Workpiece: Fix the stone securely to prevent slipping during polishing.

Start with Low Grit (Grit 50):

  • Lightly spray water over the surface.
  • Polish in a clockwise circular motion.
  • Check smoothness and scratch uniformity before moving to the next grit.

Progress Sequentially Through Grits:

  • Follow the order: 50 → 100 → 150 → 200 → 400 → 500 (or higher if available)
  • Do not skip grits, as it compromises final finish quality.
  • Check surface by tilting at 30–45° angle for scratch visibility and consistency.

Final Polish:

  • Shine typically starts to appear from grit 800 onward.
  • If scratches remain visible at higher grits, repeat earlier grit until even finish is achieved.
