How to Use – Polishing Steps

Begin Polishing:

• Start with Grit 50 using a circular, clockwise motion.
• Spray a thin film of water while polishing.
• Ensure uniform smoothness before progressing to next grit.

Inspection:

• Squeeze water off and examine surface at 30–45° angle.
• Scratches are typically visible until Grit 400.
• Surface should appear scratch-free beyond Grit 400.

Progress Sequentially:

• Do not skip grits: 50 → 100 → 200 → 400 → 800 → 1500 → 3000
• Skipping grits may result in poor finish or visible scratches.
• Shine usually begins at Grit 800 and improves with higher grits.

Troubleshooting:

• Visible scratches after Grit 800+ indicate insufficient prior grit polishing.
